At Silva Studio, pricing is as tailored as the work itself. Because every project has its own rhythm, our quotes are based on the specific scale of your vision, including filming duration, editing depth, equipment needs, and the size of the creative team required.
Once we’ve aligned on your goals and the final scope, I’ll provide a clear, estimated quote designed to move your project forward.

Booking Deposit
To officially secure your date with Silva Studio, a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total estimated project cost is required upon signing the contract.
Why this matters: This "booking fee" ensures your date is locked in and allows for necessary pre-production, equipment prep, and any required NAV CANADA drone flight approvals.
Payment: This deposit is applied toward your final balance.
Rescheduling Policy
I understand that timelines can shift, especially with Winnipeg's unpredictable weather affecting outdoor shoots and drone flights.
Weather-Related (Drone/Outdoor): If unsafe flying conditions (high winds, rain) or extreme weather occur, we will reschedule to the next available date at no additional cost.
Client-Initiated:
More than 7 days' notice: Your deposit can be transferred to a new date one time.
Less than 7 days' notice: A rescheduling fee may apply to cover the lost opportunity to book another client for that specific time slot.
Revisions & Adjustments
Included Rounds: Every project includes two rounds of consolidated revisions. This allows you to review the initial draft and provide a single, comprehensive list of feedback for each stage.
Technical Errors: Correcting typos or minor technical oversights on our end is always free of charge and does not count against your revision rounds.
Additional Rounds: Any requests beyond the included two rounds, or revisions that shift the original project scope, are billed at our standard hourly rate.
Feedback Window: To keep your project on track, all revision notes should be submitted within 14 days of receiving a draft.
Cancellation Fees
If a project is cancelled rather than rescheduled, fees are structured based on how close we are to the production date:
30+ days' notice: The 50% non-refundable retainer is retained as liquidated damages.
7 days to 3 business days' notice: A fee equivalent to 75% of the total project fee is due.
Less than 72 hours' notice: The full 100% project fee is due to cover reserved crew, equipment, and production time that cannot be reallocated on short notice.
Editing & Color Grading (Post-Production)
Progress-Based Billing: If a project is cancelled after editing has begun but before the final cut, you will be billed for the actual hours worked up to that point at our standard hourly rate.
Final Delivery: Full payment is required before the release of high-resolution, watermark-free files or final color-graded exports.

Here is what you can expect when we’re in production:
Intentional Preparation:
I arrive with a clear plan, so that once the cameras are rolling, we can focus entirely on capturing the right story.
Calm Professionalism:
Production can be fast-paced, but we maintain a steady, composed environment where everyone feels confident and creative.
Technical Precision:
From lighting to sound, we handle the complexities of the gear so you can focus on the performance and the vision.
Adaptive Creativity:
While we follow the plan, we stay open to those spontaneous, "perfect" moments that often make the final cut.
